ACE ACE will automatically report finished goods data to SAP, plus it provides ability to dynamically schedule production and monitor work flow on individual production machines, even those without “intelligence” (eg., communicating PLCs).

Ace is an integrated, stand-alone system that improves manufacturing productivity through data collection/reporting, real-time machine and process monitoring/alarming, production scheduling and tracking and preventive maintenance (based on actual machine/tooling usage).   ACE also interfaces with SAP (through simple ASCII text files) to improve planning and control functionality.

ACE is a Windows-based system that collects production data directly from all types of manufacturing equipment using on–machine data collection/display/operator interface devices (MDT).    Three models of MDT enable users to match data collection/display capabilities to individual machines.    ACE collects up to 40 down time causes and 20 scrap causes per machine. Historical reporting and analysis of productivity data by machine, tool/mold, operator, and product improves accuracy of scheduling and product costing.

ACE can receive production orders directly into its Job Queue.   Job completion dates are based on actual operating conditions, jobs in the Queue, shift schedule and scheduled maintenance.    Production Schedulers can interactively “drag and drop” to reschedule and test changes without disturbing actual schedule.   ACE electronically reports back production and status information to SAP on a near real-time basis.     Thus, responsiveness is improved and errors are eliminated, as is the unproductive labor spent collecting and entering data.
