Another very exciting day for Flex! SAP and Macromedia today announced "they are extending SAP NetWeaver with Flex to give organizations the ability to create rich interfaces for SAP solutions [...] The next release of SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer will include Flex technology and will be made available to all existing SAP NetWeaver customers."

This is also very exciting for me on a personal front: I was directly involved in this project, worked on the initial proof-of-concepts, and then supported the SAP developers working on the integration. So it's great to see all this become reality.
But most importantly, it's great to see SAP, the world's leading provider of business software solutions, recognize the value that Flex can bring to their solutions. It's also a tremendous validation for Flex in the Enterprise.
A huge number of companies and enterprise developers will be introduced to Flex through this partnership, and that's excellent news for the entire Flex ecosystem. The best-run businesses run SAP? and Flex!
